After steadily declining profits and revenues of the recent months report for Samsung Mobile, the Korean giant is shuffling from its priorities and designing Galaxy S6 also known as Project Zero from scratch in a hope to make it it’s best flagship phone yet. It is the thing that every company is doing now days to compete with others in this business.
Company has decides to choose more metal construction for a more premium feel and build quality. This is something that a lot of Samsung users will welcome. The front of the device will cover up a qHD Super AMOLED display with no screen size confirmed yet but some rumors claim it to be 5.5inches which is a bit odd to me that why would they do that.
It’s all about cameras on smart phones these days and Samsung has decided to go with 16 to 20 megapixel Sony IMX240 sensor found in Galaxy Note 4.
Under the hood, Samsung will pack a 64-bit octa-core Exynos Processor with Mali-T760 GPU. It will offer 3GB of RAM for multitasking and it is unlikely for Samsung to offer more than 64GB of internal storage because Samsung offers expandable storage solutions.
A recent study claimed some performance and compatibility issues with 64-bit platform which might end up delaying the launch of several high-end Android smart phones including Galaxy S6 though Samsung is expected to launch two different versions of Galaxy S6, one packing Exynos and other one with Qualcomm’s latest chip.
Below is a screenshot of AnTuTu Benchmark believed to be next flagship from Samsung.
All of these reports are just rumors and Samsung has conformed nothing officially. Anything can change with time and if it does, we will let you know here.
Meantime, let us know what you want from new Samsung Galaxy S6. Will you buy it for bigger screen?
