Sony Xperia Z Review – The Phone with sleek Design

This is the new ERA of Design with latest Technology, Companies are likely to introduce new and new mobile phone devices which can give a better experience to its users. Many companies are taking part in this competition, Sony is also taking part in this competition with its Xperia series.

Sony Keeps releasing new and latest smartphone in Xperia series with cool features. Previously Sony Released Sony Xperia J white paper and Now, Sony has released a New Smartphone in its Xperia Series naming Sony Xperia Z. It looks even more cool and sleek in its design with its Cutting-edge camera. Its best feature is that it is extremely water proof so no tension of being dead after spilling some water on it.

It is a Phone with a Better display with second version of the company’s Mobile Bravia Engine. Lets Drill down further to its hardware specifications:

Display:

This is probably the main advantage of Sony xperia Z is its 5 inch 1080p display which is definitely its strongest Selling point. As we mentioned above, it also comes with Company’s second version of Bravia Engine which gives an improved experience in Video playback and image browsing.

Controls:

Sony Xperia Z is also good with its brilliant controls. It is having a pretty cool set of earpiece, Front-facing Camera, ambient light and proximity sensors along with LED status light above the screen.

 

It only contains virtual navigation buttons below the screen rather than hardware ones, it is only having a mouth piece at bottom. Its right side is having a MicroSim card slot, Power button and a Speaker, without having any dedicated camera key.

On the left you can easily see MHL-enabled micro USB with USB host support and the micro SD card slot and a dock connector beneath them. Also having a Plastic lid at the top of device having 3mm audio jack hiding below it.

Camera:

Sony Xperia Z is equipped with 13 Mega Pixel camera, It is capable of taking still images at the resolution of 4128 x 3096 pixels with an LED flash and a secondary microphone for stereo recording. Sony Xperia Z is also enabled to capture 1080p video footage at 30 frames per second.

But as compared to Samsung Galaxy SIII its camera result is little blurred and dull and same even if we compare it with LG Optimus G.

Connectivity:

Sony Xperia Z is having Quad-band 2 G and Tri-band 3G connectivity with the amazing speed of 42 Mbps of HSDPA and 5.8Mbps HSUPA. Having 50Mbps upload and 100Mbps download speeds with six band LTE support.

It also features Bluetooth 4.0 for connectivity with other mobile phone devices, USB on-the-go support for external flash drives and a Micro USB port for connectivity with pc or laptop and charging. Also having NFC for connectivity.

It can also act as a Media remote but it is not pre-installed in it, you have to get it from google playstore for free Which can be used to control DLNA-capable BRAVIA TVs and Sony DVD/Blu-ray players remotely.

Browsing:

Sony Xperia Z is having Google chrome pre-installed as default instead of Android’s generic browser and Google Chrome and Android Jelly Bean also do not support flash.

Processing and Memory:

It features 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage with a Micro SD card support, Quad-core 1.5 GHz Krait CPU and its GPU is Adreno 320 and Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro chipset.
